About This

The title of this blog refers to my second horse, "Pax," a June 2009 PMU filly. She is Percheron x Belgian x QH. Pax is currently in training using methods I find the most humane and a good helping of patience. My first horse, a 1994 Appaloosa gelding named "Bandit," is being repurposed for dressage and long-distance competitive trail riding (www.natrc.org) and I am also training two 2008 American Mustangs named "Indigo," and "Flint," adopted from the BLM. This blog will chronicle their progress and the rest of my horse life. I manage a herd of 20+ camp horses for the San Antonio Y.
